Western Serves, one of our Community Engaged Learning programs, has been recognized by Reforest London for our contribution to the Million Tree Challenge. We've received the Tree Team Award which honours a volunteer group giving their time to planting and caring for trees in London, Ontario.

November 9th, 5:30pm, UCC 146: Western University and AIMA Canada are proud to present a career panel discussion and networking event on the Canadian hedge fund industry and career opportunities therein. This is a content-packed session for those who might look to enter the hedge fund/alternative investment industry either right out of school or down the line. Open to all students, you will learn about what it takes to be a portfolio manager or trader (Finance Students); fund or service provider salesperson (Finance, Marketing students); fund administration, audit or compliance professional (Accounting, Law); and other associated service providers such as prime brokers (Finance, Accounting, Law) and securities lawyers (Law).

November 26th, 12-6pm, UCC 146: WesternAscends2016 will feature 4 talks from business leaders, including a Partner & Head of Recruitment from KPMG, a CEO of a local start-up, a leader from a major financial institution and a Business Coach and Entrepreneur. As aspiring leaders, attendees have the invaluable opportunity of learning directly from our speakers as these professionals share their insight and wisdom into the world of business. Career Counselling Intake Appointments

A quick, 15 minute appointment, which serves as the prerequisite for accessing further career counselling services. Available to be booked online, by phone 519-661-3559, or in person in UCC 210 on the day the appointment is being offered.
