International Exchange Programs at Western

The International and Exchange Student Centre is part of Western International and is located on the 2nd floor of the Western Student Services building.

Western is committed to internationalization and encourages all students to become global citizens. By studying on exchange, students learn the dynamics between the developing and the developed world and build familiarity and connections with different world regions. A cosmopolitan worldview is rated as one of the top three skills needed in future leaders & by going on exchange, students gain valuable skills for succeeding in a global economy.

Western Law International Exchange Program

An extraordinary program of exchange opportunities compliments Western Law's International outlook. We at Western Law believe that in this era of globalization, exposure to another legal system is of tremendous importance. Immersion in a different culture is one of the most enriching aspects of this unique and rewarding educational experience.

International @ Ivey

The Richard Ivey School of Business offers several international and exchange programs, including their own campus in Hong Kong. Ivey is a truly global family of students, faculty, staff and alumni.

Ivey is home to many students who come to Ivey from around the world each year, and who have gone into high-level long-term careers in many countries.

Ivey is a leader in teaching and case-writing on cross-enterprise issues of importance to both global companies and new ventures. Yes, you will be learning how to do business in other countries when you are in the Ivey classroom.

Connect-123 Study Abroad Programs

Connect-123’s study abroad program in Cape Town, South Africa is a partnership with the one of Africa’s foremost third level institutions, the University of Cape Town, The Social Entrepreneurship study abroad program gives undergraduate students an insight into the unique opportunities challenges present in emerging markets. It blends classroom-based and experiential learning by including a substantial fieldwork component, which is linked with academic theory and regular mentoring sessions.
