Dr. Susan Rodger Student Leadership Award

This award recognizes the overall outstanding contributions made to the Leadership & Mentorship Program at Western University. The award recognizes innovation, length of service, dedication to students and the development of future student leaders. The nomination can be made by a Student Success Centre staff person, a Peer Mentor, Team Leader, Student Coordinator, or Western Student. In the nomination letter, please outline the leadership qualities and abilities the individual has demonstrated and what contributions they have made to the Western peer mentor community, citing specific examples.

This award recognizes outstanding service to off-campus students at Western University. This award recognizes the overall outstanding contributions made to the Western Serves program at Western University. This award recognizes an outstanding commitment to community engagement, to innovation, dedication and passion that a student brings for Western Serves. This individual has helped promote a sense of civic engagement and social responsibility among other Western students.

Community Engagement Leadership Award

This award recognizes significant contributions to the London community from students that were engaged in one of our CEL programs (Western Serves, CEL Courses, Alternative Spring Break), but that did not hold a formal leadership role. Through their involvement, the student has demonstrated a sense of civic engagement and social responsibility through their involvement and actions.

This award is given to the student who has been an invaluable member of the larger Student Success Centre team. They are engaged in the various Student Success Centre programs, provide their leadership on a regular basis and to whom the staff are truly grateful.
