All O-Month Events must adhere to the following:
Deadline: O-Month Event submissions must be submitted by: Friday, July 10, 2015.
There is no limit to the number of O-Month Events you submit. The information submitted online through the O-Month proposal form will be reviewed and approved by Western University’s Orientation Planning Committee (OPC). OPC will convene to review all O-Month Events on a rolling basis, depending on the number of submissions received. A member of OPC will communicate approval notices to O-Month Event organizers or departments no later than July 10th. Upon receipt of approval notices, O-Month Event organizers will be asked to liaise with the AOC (firstname.lastname@example.org) on behalf of OPC to coordinate logistical and scheduling details.
Events may be hosted at any time during the month of September, beginning on Monday, September 14, 2015. It is recommended that events take place between during regular business hours, but not starting earlier than 10:30am (as to increase student attendance). However, you are also more than welcome to run events on evenings & weekends, or early in the morning. Depending on the nature of your event, the timing may vary. We suggest that you touch base with the AOC (email@example.com) if you have any questions or concerns about the timing of your event. OPC may make scheduling suggestions are they review your event proposal(s).
