Western Serves Day of Service

One of our Community Engaged Learning programs, Western Serves Day of Service is a campus-wide event which allows you to go out into the community and support the great work our partner organizations do. From fall cleaning and painting, to cooking and more, our volunteers spend an afternoon helping our organizations.

New this year Western Serves Day of Service will be offered on two dates

Friday, September 23  &  Saturday, September 24

You can participate in either day or both.

Community partners working with Western Serves address various critical issues in society, including physical and mental health, environment, poverty, and more. By participating in this Day of Service, you will get a chance to learn more about these issues, and do your part in addressing them.

I learned that sometimes your contribution to an organization is not so much about the tasks you complete as it is about you just being there to show your support and dedicating your time to be with other individuals in the organization. Western Serves Day of Service 2015 participant.

We thank our sponsors for Western Serves Day of Service 2016. Without their help, this event could not be a success!
